Daily itinerary
Day 1
Connect in Lima and fly to Iquitos, then take a boat to the rainforest lodge (this flight is included). Groups under 8 connect independently; rainforest services are in English. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 2
Monkey Island and an Amazon River boat trip for wildlife viewing; sightings of specific animals are not guaranteed. Hotel breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3
Rainforest suspension bridges and botanical gardens, with activities arranged according to weather. Hotel breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4
After rainforest activities, fly Iquitos–Lima (flight included). Breakfast and speciality lunch.
Day 5
Lima old town, Plaza Mayor and monastery; fly to Cusco (airfare included) and stay in the Sacred Valley. Breakfast and a local dinner.
Day 6
Maras salt pans and Moray terraces, then a scenic train to Aguas Calientes. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 7
After visiting Machu Picchu, return to Cusco by train. Breakfast and specialty lunch.
Day 8
Cusco city and Sacsayhuamán ruins, then airport transfer; flight times must be checked first. Breakfast and a speciality lunch.
