D1 · Arrive in Istanbul
Pickup at Istanbul Airport and hotel check-in for rest; all meals today are at your expense. Complimentary pickup times are 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 22:00; confirm based on flight arrival and baggage collection time.
D2 · Istanbul Old City
City walls, Sultanahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Lunch and dinner follow the itinerary, with a barbecue-style dinner.
D3 · Istanbul → Ankara
Visit Anitkabir and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations to learn about Turkey's modern history and ancient civilizations.
D4 · Ankara → Cappadocia
Via Tuz Salt Lake, visit Göreme Open-Air Museum and Devrent Valley. Stay at a distinctive Cappadocia hotel.
D5 · Cappadocia
Özkonak Underground City, Red Valley, Pigeon Valley and Love Valley, plus a jewellery-shop visit. A hot-air balloon ride and cave-restaurant show are optional at extra cost.
D6 · Cappadocia → Konya
Visit the Mevlana Museum, with Konya-style long flatbread pizza for lunch. Overnight in Konya.
D7 · Konya → Pamukkale
Visit Pamukkale's travertine formations and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, enjoy local-style lamb chops and stay at a thermal hotel.
D8 · Pamukkale → Kusadasi
Visit ancient Ephesus and Şirince village, followed by free time on the coast in Kuşadası.
D9 · Kuşadası → İzmir → Çanakkale
Travel via Izmir to ancient Troy and its Trojan Horse remains. Overnight in Çanakkale.
D10 · Çanakkale → Istanbul
Visit Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue. Dolmabahce Palace is an optional extra-cost visit.
D11 · Istanbul Markets & Strait
Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Spice Bazaar, Galata Tower exterior, and a daytime Bosphorus cruise, with a shopping-centre stop as well.
D12 · Istanbul airport drop-off
Leave after hotel breakfast. The original itinerary provides only one airport transfer departing the hotel at 9:00 in the morning. Transport for earlier flights must be arranged and confirmed separately.
The daily order, opening times and hotels are subject to final departure documents. The itinerary includes long drives, walking at historic sites and shopping stops.
