Winter Banff · Music and a gentle female narration
After the song ends, enjoy a gentle reflection. The film is about 53 seconds; the female narration starts after 32 seconds.
Enjoy winter mountain, town, hot spring and castle scenes. The moving ski and gondola clips illustrate winter experiences and were not filmed in Banff. Actual sights, hotels and optional activities depend on your tour and departure.
Leisure time and optional extras
Day 2 passes Castle Mountain, visits Kootenay and Marble Canyon (about 45 minutes), stops at Lake Louise for about 90 minutes, then passes the Spiral Tunnels and visits Yoho, Natural Bridge (about 15 minutes) and Emerald Lake (about 20 minutes); overnight in Banff.
Snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides and lakeside afternoon tea during the Lake Louise stop are optional extras, not included in the base fare.
On Day 3, book optional Lake Louise ski area activities, a sightseeing gondola, tubing, a sleigh ride or a Rockies helicopter experience; a Johnston Canyon day tour is also available at extra cost. Activities depend on opening, weather and availability; not all are guaranteed.
The materials recommend booking optional activities at least three days ahead and state no cancellation or date changes within three days of departure. Confirm each activity's actual terms before payment.
The Sulphur Mountain gondola is a compulsory extra; Banff Upper Hot Springs and lunch are at your own expense. Stop durations are indicative and depend on weather and road conditions.
